Journal 15: TIme to leave

My european vacation was absolutely amazing, as I sit on my plane ride home I have realized how much fun I had in Venice, Dublin and Paris. I hope to go back and explore more of these amazing cities!!!!

Journal 14: My last Day In France

Today is my last day of my amazing vacation. Today I'm learning to cook!!! I'm going to the number 2 rated attraction in all of paris, its called La Cuisine and they give intense lessons on how to cook like a true french chef. When I get home I will be hopefully to have a huge party to show all my friends my cooking skills. The class was amazing and I learned how to cook almost 12 dishes. I am very sad to be leaving France tomorrow but its time for me to leave and get back to my normal life.

Journal 13: Paris

Today was a very casual day for me. I basically hung out at the hotel and went to the pool and met new people. I was very tired from my non stop lifestyle that I needed a day to relax. I have one more day in France before I go back to Massachusetts and I feel like theres so much for me to do. We'll see what happens tomorrow!!!!!!

Journal 12: Tour Eiffel

Today I am spending my day at the Eiffel tour or tour Eiffel as the French call it. The Eiffel tour is one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of the world. As the most visited monument in the world I expected to have a great time. I learned some interesting things on the way to the tour. It was originally built in 1889 for the Worlds Fair. I plan on going to the third tier which is the highest point of the tower. IT WILL BE FUN

Journal 11: Paris Day one

Today is the my first day in the last leg of my amazing vacation. This has been my most anticipated stop of my journey and I plan to make the most of these last 4 days. The first place i'm visiting is the famous Notre dame cathedral. The cathedral is a masterpiece of gothic architecture. After I went to the cathedral I went to lunch at a stand near the church and walke around taking in all of the sights of this wonderful city.

Journal: 10 On My Way to France

I'm on my way to Spain now and thought I would reflect on my travels thus far. Venice was spectacular because of how the city was built and constructed, also the rich history. Dublin Ireland was also beautiful because of the scenery and easy-going atmosphere. I am excited to see what Spain will have to offer!!!

Journal 9: Museum of Ireland

This is sadly my last day in dublin and im on my way to the national museum of Ireland. I figure that I should probably learn a little bit about the coutries history while I'm here. The museum has a lot to offer. It provides a lot of insight of the history and the myth of Irish History

Journal 8: The Irish House Party

I woke up late this morning and hung by the pool but at i'm going to the Irish House Party tonight. The irish house party is a amazing experience that mixes the fun loving atmosphere of the irish people and the teaching and learning for the tourists and non-natives. I also got some great food at O'Hare's which is a great traditional Irish Restaurant in Dublin.

Journal 7: Grove Street Party

The next day I went to the Secret Castle of Magic, tickets were only 25 dollars and the experience was totally worth it. It was around 3 hours long and was filled with comedy and terror. There was also a lot of guest participation and everyone was fully engaged in the show, I would definately encourge this to any family traveling to Dublin it was a great time. After the show I went to a huge party and had a amazing time. Irish people really know how to party. By the time I got home it was almost 3 in the morning, let's just say I slept in the following morning.

Journal 6: Dublin

Today is my first day in Dublin and the sights are absolutely amazing, there are green pastures for days and everyone is so friendly, I love the accents around here and can't wait to explore this interesting city. The first thing I did was walk around the city and do a little exploration, but at night I went out and experienced a magical night. I went to a evening of Food, Folklore and Fairies. This is Dublin's oldest pub and I experienced an enchanting evening of Irish folklore, storytelling and music while enjoying a candlelit traditional Irish dinner in Dublin's oldest Pub, The Brazen Head. I heard many interesting stories and met some crazy people.

Journal 5: Last Day in Venice

My time in venice was amazing, I am leaving for Dublin in a little while so i decided I would take time to reflect on my time. I enjoyed every minute of my time in Venice including the Grand Canal, Saint Mark's square and the amazing artwork, I also met some amazing people. I will hopefully be back in Venice soon.

Journal 4: St. Marks Square

Saint Marks Square is absolutely amazing it is the most popularly visited place in Venice and is famous around the world. It is called the piazza in venice and had many parts. The Piazza is dominated at its eastern end by the great church of St Mark. I first bought some authentic venetian items including food and pottery. I had to make it a early night because I was leaving for dublin tomorrow. I will hopefully see some more of Venice because my flight isnt until later in the afternoon.

Journal 3: Doge's Palace

This was my favorite part of Venice, Doge's palace was the home on the Doge who is most powerful secular power in all of Italy and the huge building was amazing. It sat right off the water and looked like a huge mansion. I can only imagine living in that huge mansion. I only went to the Doge palace for half the day, I went to my hotel pool and relaxed the second half of the day. The pool is amazing and has everything you could imagine including a pool size basketball court. I had a great time in the pool, and met many different people.

Journal 2

Today I woke up early and headed out to the grand canal. I was very tired but I was excited to see Venice's main waterway and it runs straight through the city. I was very surprised to see how clean the water was and the amount of tourists that were there was simply incredible. There were people off all different nationalities there. I got to ride my very first gondola and experienced some traditional venetian food. After I toured the canal I went back to the room and took a quick nap then went out to eat at the centrale restaurant and had some amazing pizza. I went back to my room after that and crashed immediately.

Where I'm Going in Venice

The first place on visting in Venice is the Grand Canal which is Venice's main water thoroughfare, lined with great Renaissance palaces, is a colorful and busy spectacle of gondolas and vaporetti.
After that I will go to Doge's Palace which is The most impressive secular building in Venice, this palace served as the senate house, administrative center, hall of justice, public archive and prison up until the fall of the Venetian Republic in 1797.
The next Day I will go to Saint Mark's square which is the most famous attraction in Venice. It is the heart of the city and thats where I will spend the day.
The following Day I plan on going on a gondola to see some of the amazing art that venice has to offer, some of the famous are the high altar at I Frari, Tintoretto's epic masterpiece 'Crucifixion' at Scuola Grande di San Rocco, and Tiepolo's monumental frescos at the Pietà and Ca’ Rezzonico.

I met some people who were also staying in the hotel, I went back tp the room around 10 and unopacked my things and went to bed and prepared for a long day tomorrow.
